SOCIAL services staff in Bury are on the move.
From today offices at The Wylde and Craig House in Bury, Whittaker Street in Radcliffe and The Uplands in Whitefield will be closed.
During the closure, members of the public can access an emergency service by calling 0161 253 5457.
The closures are part of the continuing restructuring of social services throughout the Borough.
From Monday (Apr6), The Wylde will no longer operate as a social services premises.
Services will be based at Craig House, Bury, (children and families fieldwork); Whittaker Street, Radcliffe, (adult services and home services); and The Uplands, Whitefield, (children and families, learning disabilities).
From April 6 the duty telephone numbers are: Craig House 0161 253 5454; The Uplands 0161 253 7333; and Whittaker Street 0161 253 7190.
Home care services can be contacted on 0161 253 7196 or 0161 253 5484/5.
