The sunshine is more brilliant, skies a brighter blue,
The fragrance of a lilac tree, a sunbeam filters through.
Flowers in a garden, lift their petalled face to God
Like coloured gems shining bright,
Gold , orange, crimson and sparkling white.
Birds in the treetops sing merrily all day,
The old weeping willow bows her leafy head to pray.
Many things we take for granted are sacred to the eye,
The beauty of a rambling rose, a rainbow in the sky.
A new day dawns when we see leaves budding on a tree,
Visions of a summer's day are there for all to see.
A little bit of heaven God sent down to you and me,
You must believe as I do, the best of things in life are free. By I Hamer
