THE Technology Development Unit at Bolton Institute is organising a series of short courses on "Beating the Millennium Bug".
They will be on Monday evening, June 1, Wednesday afternoon, July 1 and Tuesday afternoon, August 4.
A Bolton Institute computer expert, Frank Cook, will advise on how to tackle problems.
Each representative attending will be given a floppy disk of useful software.
Mr Roy Attwood of the TDU said: "Judging by the calls we have had, we will need more than the three short courses so far arranged.
"We plan to go on offering one seminar a month until demand dies down."
Further details are available from the TDU on 01204 903078.
The Royal Bank of Scotland has produced a brochure on the Millennium Bug.
Regional commercial manager Ian Kennedy said it was one of a series of measures being introduced to provide information and advice.
Copies are available from Karen Trafford at the bank's commercial office in Bolton on 01204 525474.
