I WOULD like to say a BIG thank you to the Chorley Citizen and to reporter Ian McCawley for writing an article recently on my search for information on my Rigby, Thornley, Turner ancestors and also Mill Hole Cottage.
Thanks also to Roy Robinson, ex Chorley, who e-mailed me from western Manitoba, Canada and John Miller of Euxton, for his very informative letter and offer of further help.
Finally, a most special thank you to Val and Bob Bottomley of Adlington - they actually went to Mill Hole Cottage and with the owner"s permission, took photographs and sent them to me along with a lovely book entitled Avout Horwich by M.D. Smith.
Amazing!!! Sunch wonderfully kind people, I am indebted to you all.
