End of the road for Farmers Arms IN the Chorley Nissan Sunday League's Guardian Shield semi-finals, both games paired premier division opposition against sides from division one.
Leos met Clayton Orient and thanks to goals from Lilley and Walker, led 2-1 at half time.
The second half saw Orient turn the game around as they netted five times without reply for a 6-2 victory. Scorers for Orient were Hyde (2), Ashcroft (2), Chippendale and Tattersall.
In the other semi, Brooklyn Athletic overcame their lower league opponents Black Horse. A goal each from Williams and Thompson saw the teams level at the break, the winning goal coming midway through the second half from Athletic's Hatton for a final score of 2-1.
In the Supplementary Cup, last season's winners Farmers Arms were knocked out at the semi-final stage of this year's competition as second half goals from Bowling and Faunch gave Brookes Arms a 2-0 victory.
They will meet Wheatsheaf in the final as the Coppull side had little trouble in their game with Adlington Rovers despite going behind to an early strike from McLoud. Sheaf totally dominated the remainder of the game, scoring 12 times through Taylor (7), Lane (3), Wildish and Hailwood.
In the second division, Red Lion scored four second half goals through Towers (2), Platt and L Matthews, as they won 4-0 at Euxton WMI.
