ORGANISERS report that this year's Bolton and Bury Business Awards gala evening is a complete sell-out.
Bolton Business Ventures Ltd have sold all 350 tickets for the black tie dinner (£30 a head plus VAT) to be held at the Last Drop Village Hotel on Friday, May 15.
The event has transferred to Bromley Cross this year from Bolton Town Hall.
Paul Davidson, chief executive of BBV, said: "We needed a larger venue for the awards dinner which is always a very popular event and one of the highlights in the business calendar.
"We were delighted when Macdonald Hotels became a sponsor of the awards and already in our first year we have filled the new Pennine Suite Conference Centre." There are eight award categories carrying total prize money of £22,000, with a further £3,000 in trophies and certificates.
The judges made their decisions after an initial entry of more than 100 was reduced to a shortlist of 39.
The results will be announced at the dinner.
Mr Davidson said: "We have made a few changes this year which will ensure that the dinner is a memorable occasion for all concerned."
