THE joint owner of a Bury health club has been killed in a motorbike accident in Wales.
Glynne Olive, 34, of Bridgefield Drive, Bury, was rushed to Glan Clwyd Hospital in North Wales after he lost control of his bike on the mountain road between Pentrefoelas and Denbigh on Sunday.
Mr Olive, a partner in the Millennium Health and Fitness Club on The Rock, Bury, crashed into a telegraph pole.
Mr Olive, who was travelling with a group of fellow bikers, was in the intensive care unit overnight but died yesterday.
The centre was closed last night as a mark of respect.
Centre manager Mr Paddy Campbell said: "I don't know very much about his private life, although he did have a girlfriend. However, as a boss he was a wonderful man who had everything going for him.
"All the staff and regular customers are saddened by his death."
Mr Olive and business partner Denis Moss took over control of the health centre last June.
