A THAI boxing gym owner has doubled a reward in the hope of finding a sign vandal.
Nigel Ashton originally offered £250 for information but has now increased the reward to £500 in the hope of finding the person responsible for stealing and damaging his banners.
The Elite Thai Boxing gym boss hopes the increased figure will be the temptation needed to identify the vandal.
Mr Ashton, 26, says a number of his banners and signs, advertising the Wordsworth Street, Bolton gym, have been stolen, damaged or defaced. He now hopes to catch the culprit and prevent any further costly damage.
Anyone with information can contact Mr Ashton on Bolton 493563.
Mr Ashton's plight was reported in the BEN last month.
Since then he has received a message on his answerphone saying "You deserve to have your banners ripped down. It couldn't happen to a nicer person".
He said: "I just hope the increased reward will help me find out who is responsible. I am determined to find out who is damaging and stealing the banners."
