By ALAN CALVERT, Industrial Editor A MAJOR scheme to find young business talent has established its own hotline.
Bolton's Young Entrepreneur Programme is seeking to identify 15 new businesses for concentrated help and support.
Anybody who thinks they have what it takes is being asked to ring 01204 396208.
Young people who qualify for the hothouse treatment need to be between 18 and 30, have an idea for a business, possess the enthusiasm and determination to succeed and be prepared to receive expert guidance.
The programme, which is due to start by the summer, will also include business owners in that age group who have traded for less than 24 months.
The scheme includes financial support, top advice from experts, helpful and thorough weekend courses and friendly attention from successful business people who will make themselves available as mentors.
It is being developed by Bolton Council and Business Link Bolton and Bury with additional financial support from local business people including Temple and Club Mondo boss John Musso.
Funding has already reached £56,000.
