SWINTON Lions rode their luck twice last night to press their claims for a Division One play-off place.
The Lions were held up by a tailback on the M62 on their way to Dewsbury. The kick off was delayed 30 minutes but they went on to roar to a 13-10 victory.
The Lions led after tries from Ian Watson and Paul Barrow before Danny McKelvie and Matt Bramald touched down for the Rams.
In a thrilling finish, Dewsbury's Leon Williamson had a last minute try disallowed.
