LEIGH Centurions face the prospect of tackling league leaders Wakefield Trinity at Belle Vue without pack ace Tim Street.
The prop's dodgy knee has flared up again and he's been unable to train this week. And with David Whittle being recalled by Wigan Warriors and Andy Grundy another doubtful starter, Leigh have big problems.
Leigh are likely to make a final decision on Street's fitness tonight but they have Tau Liku and new on loan signing from Wigan, Steve Barrow, ready to step in.
"We know that because of his knee trouble, Tim wouldn't be able to play in every game. This might be one of those weeks he has to miss out," reveals coach Keith Latham.
"Andy Grundy is also struggling. He played with a severe stomach upset on Sunday and became badly dehydrated. Again we'll just have to wait and see."
But goalkicking winger Paul Wingfield is back after missing the Hunslet victory with rib trouble and stand-off James Arkwright has been cleared after having 16 stitches in a head wound.
Leigh's squad is: Donlan, Wingfield, Ingram, Kendrick, Purtill, Hill, O'Loughlin, Arkwright, Donohue, Street, Murray, Pucill, Grundy, Liku, Costello, Garcis, Barrow, Gunning, Jenkins, Grainey, Kay.
Leigh's Alliance side take on Division One table-toppers Hemel Hempstead at Hilton Park tomorrow, kick off 2.30pm.
