SIR: Being disabled and unable to visit Bolton any longer, I am trying to trace an old friend.

Her maiden name was Alice Higson, and she lived in Olive Street during the 1940s and 50s. She was a witness at my wedding at Bolton Register Office in 1953.

The last time I saw her was in 1964, before I moved to Skegness. Alice will remember me as Carol Hogan.
