DETECTIVES are hunting a sex fiend who attacked a student in a street on the outskirts of Bolton town centre last night.
The 26-year-old was attacked as she walked home after a night out.
She was grabbed from behind, pushed against a wall in Selwyn Street, the Haulgh, and then indecently assaulted.
The terrified student eventually managed to break free. She ran to a neighbouring home to raise the alarm.
Police say she was "shocked and very distressed".
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to contact Bolton Central CID or Crimestoppers on the free phone number 0800 555 111.
