CULTURE vultures in Bury will soon have the chance to meet the man hailed as one of the world's top five living artists.
An exhibition of work by German born artist Ulrich Ruckriem - creator of the giant stone sculptures due to be unveiled at the Outwood Colliery site in Radcliffe - is now on display at Bury Art Gallery.
Ruckriem's work in Radcliffe is a major showcase of the multi-million pound Irwell Sculpture Trail, attracting attention from all corners of the globe.
The exhibition at Bury Art Gallery will run until June 20 and a series of workshops, study days and guided tours of the Outwood site will give local people a further insight into his work.
One of the highlights of the month will be a chance to meet the artist when he visits the gallery to give a talk on June 18.
