Couple's perfect match at Reebok A COUPLE hope to kick off the perfect future when they tie the knot today. Wanderers fanatics Dawn Penrose, 30, and Graham Howarth, 29, are getting married at the £35 million Reebok Stadium - the first couple to do so. The sales account managers met at work nine years ago and have been courting for three years.
But football has helped to cement their relationship - ever since Graham took Dawn to her first Wanderers match.
She said: "I was never really into football before but then Graham took me to my first game and I was hooked."
Graham is from the Morris Green area of Bolton and moved to Wokingham, near London, where he met southerner Dawn.
He joked: "We're doing our bit for the country by overcoming the north-south divide."
The two Wanderers season ticket holders decided to take the plunge in Bolton because it was near to Dawn's Scottish relatives.
She said: "You might say we are getting married on the half way line. "It'll be extra special for us because we'll be coming back here every two weeks next season to cheer on the Wanderers.
"We feel we've got a match made in heaven."
Graham added: "To have the ceremony performed in the sight of the pitch and the impressive surroundings of the Reebok will be an added bonus on what is a very special day for both of us."
The wedding has been organised by the stadium's wedding co-ordinator Carol Wilson.
She said: "The Reebok has quickly built a reputation as the prestige location for weddings in the area.
"Our facilities stand comparison with any top hotel and already we are taking bookings for the Millennium."
The couple will honeymoon in the Seychelles.
