SIR: Through the Points of view page in the BEN, may I ask the councillors in charge of recreation facilities (I refer to Parks), why have the bowling greens on Haslam Park been left to overgrow?
They are cut probably twice a week or mowed at such a speed that they are left looking like football pitches.
I cannot comment on any other parks, but I think others may do so. We pay taxes for services, but this is one service which is being overlooked. Other teams use these greens and pay for them, so where is this money going? J Greenhalgh
