God gave us hands so we could pray
So we could clap when pleased in any way,
He gave us feet with legs so we can walk,
A tongue as well, that we may talk,
Eyes and ears to listen and shed tears
And to love, he gave us a heart,
Which some people lose when life falls apart.
So put your hands together and pray
For these people who seem in life to lose their way.
Let them use their legs the right way to find,
Use their eyes to read the signs, and
Leave the wrong ways behind,
No longer the eyes tears will shed
But have a happy heart and laughter instead. By Mrs L Walton
