SIR: Walking through Farnworth Park recently with my young children, enjoying the beautiful day and the lush green surroundings, I was surprised to discover that the long since dried up boating lake has become a public tipping area.
Although no longer used, the area previously was overgrown with trees and was not unpleasant to view.
But now it appears to be a site of unwanted junk and dried up tarmac with a red and white striped barrier thrown in for good measure!
Has anybody any idea what is going on in the park?
