A KEARSLEY man is set to receive a top bravery award for his heroic actions at the scene of a car crash.
Dave Renshaw of Manchester Road, used his car jack to raise a Honda Civic which had pinned a man's head to the ground.
The car had plunged into a ditch and flipped onto its roof at Salford Quays.
After jacking up the car, Mr Renshaw crawled inside and switched off the ignition.
