Now I would like to make my remarks in verse, Bolton Royal or Royal Bolton,
Call it what you may.
Doors are always open.
Whether it be night or day.
Treatment willingly given over the years,
From the very young to dear old dears!
Doesn't matter who you are,
Where you come from, near or far.
Should you need a pill to kill the pain,
Press the button, nurse is there again.
Drinks trolley with a selection to choose,
A very good choice, sorry no booze.
On odd occasions I've had to attend,
Doctors and nurses were a God-send.
Once again I say 'Thanks a lot',
We all should be thankful with what we've got. By Walter Ainscough
