A TOP TV actress is lending her support to a Horwich animal charity.
Joanna Bacon, currently appearing in the Octagon's production Saved, is supporting Lexus Greyhound Rescue.
The animal lover has made appearances in Eastenders, One Foot in the Grave, The Bill and Berkeley Square, which is now being shown on BBC.
The charity is in desperate need of an animal ambulance to help its good work of rescuing abandoned greyhound-type dogs.
And it also needs fosterers and carers for more than a dozen greyhounds, whippets and lurchers currently crowded into the terraced house home of Pat Graham, who runs the rescue centre in George Street.
The number to ring to help is Carol Parkinson 01204 411369 or Pat Graham 01204 668589.
