SIR: To say I am disappointed in the decision to raise ticket prices at the Reebok Stadium would be a gross understatement. Each year we are given an excuse for the club raising prices, whether that is "there are more games this season" or "the quality of opposition is worth the extra money", but never the opposite view which is equally true from the fans perspective. (i.e. fewer games or inferior opposition.)
BWFC cannot expect it their way all the time. Thousands of fans last season showed their loyalty by buying season tickets only for the club to now turn round and throw that back in their faces. They know that we are faced with losing the seats next to all our mates unless we "hand over the cash". It became obvious when turning down the extra seats at Chelsea that money is the only concern of the "faceless few" at the Reebok.
Speaking as a fan who went to every league game last season, home and away, I expect some loyalty in return from the club. They have not shown any, so they make my decision easy.
I WILL NOT be renewing my season ticket.
