SIR: On Sunday May 24, I visited Moss Bank Park with my grand-daughter. Like all small children she wished to visit the toilet. I was absolutely appalled at the condition they were in.

The Park is obviously a very popular venue, and caters well for children in the play areas. But I think it is ludicrous to spend so much money and yet not to incorporate adequate toilet facilities.

If I had had a camera with me, I would have been tempted to photo the excrement that was everywhere.

There were hundreds of children and adults at the Park, all of whom I'm sure went home crossed-legged, or, like us, very early. These toilets are a health hazard.
