A MAN held in police custody will be questioned about a blaze at Horwich Jobcentre.
Police confirmed a 22-year-old man, currently held at Astley Bridge Police Station, would be interviewed about last night's fire at the Jobcentre "and other incidents".
The fire damaged two rooms at the New Brunswick Street, office which was open to anyone with a previous appointment this morning.
A spokesman for the Jobcentre said the office was expected to be fully operational later today. Firemen from Horwich who were called to the scene around 8.20pm last night used two hose reels, four breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilator to dispel the smoke.
