SIR: I am writing this letter to express my disgust at the way BWFC (the club) are treating the supporters. Loyalty should go both ways. The fans have shown their loyalty by turning up game after game last season, even after the pathetic showings at a number of away games i.e. Everton, Sheffield Wednesday, Derby, West Ham and Chelsea (2nd half). Now it seems the club doesn't want to know the word loyal by the way they have upped the price of season tickets. They claim to have added £1 to a match day ticket, if this is so, can someone please explain to me why my season ticket is to rise by £78.00. Therefore, making this a rise of £3.39 per game, at an inflation rise of 31 pc. If they want to claw back the 2 million pounds they say they will lose why not take it off the players' wages as they and the manager are responsible for the mess we are in.
Unless someone from the club can justify to me that paying out £323 to watch rubbish like Oxford, QPR, Swindon, Bury, not to mention others, I doubt very much if I and many others will be renewing our season tickets next season.
A very upset BWFC supporter
