LEIGH Centurions get a quick chance to put right the wrongs of Sunday with an important game at Widnes Vikings tonight.
New coach Norman Turley will impress on his team the need to perform well against the Vikings, especially after Leigh's home hammering just three days ago.
"We need a performance that will restore our credibility. I know we are a better side than a 54-18 scoreline, but the players need to go out and prove it."
But the Centurions will still be a long way from turning out their strongest formation.
Phil Kendrick (heel), Keiron Purtill (ankle) and Andy Grundy (thigh) have been added to the casualty list and club skipper Tim Street is still suspended.
Kendrick and Purtill are optimistic of making recoveries but Grundy is almost certain to be a non-starter.
With bodies thin on the ground, Turley is likely to move Tau Liku up from second row to front row to replace Grundy.
