ARSONISTS pushed a burning, petrol soaked rag through the back door of a Bury food store last night.
Police are investigating the incident at Pound Spender in Chapel Street, which happened at 10pm.
Smoke alarms were immediately activated and fire fighters from Bury arrived at the scene to find the fire had burnt itself out.
The fire caused minor to the back door frame.
Users of the neighbouring Louise Brooks Health Studio were evacuated as a precaution.
