A BOLTON girl who appeared in a newspaper topless just weeks after her 16th birthday says she still hasn't told her mum.

Zoe Parker says she is now summoning up the courage to make a phone call to her mother In Atherton.

Zoe was born in Bolton but lived in Atherton until last year when she moved away from the area with her dad Bob.

She still keeps in touch with some pals from Lowton High School and says that they have all given her their full support in her new modelling career.

But she says her mum - who she refused to name but who still lives in Atherton - is unaware of the topless pictures. Zoe said: "My mum and dad are divorced now and I moved away from the Bolton area about 18 months ago.

"I don't really see her much now and I've not told her about the photographs yet. I'm not sure how to start the conversation off or how I'll tell her what I've done."

The teenager, who now lives in Stamford, Lincolnshire, was featured in semi-naked poses in the Daily and Sunday Sport.

She laughed: "My dad is 100 per cent behind me. He's just making sure I keep my feet firmly on the ground and he's giving me guidance

"My mum doesn't think much of topless modelling. I think she'd be annoyed but I'm not bothered as long as she's happy for me."
