oDonohue, on loan from Hull Sharks, and Grundy, from Wigan Warriors, both ended their lone spells this week and coach Norman Turley and Chairman Mick Higgins met today to decide the next course of action.
"The final decision rests with Norman, and of course the clubs that hold the players' registrations," says Higgins.
Leigh hope to have centres Phil Kendrick and Keiron Purtill back from injury to improve Turley's selection options. Kendrick has missed the last two games with a bruised heel while Purtill has a damaged ankle. But club skipper Tim Street will be back after completing a two-match ban.
Meanwhile, Leigh have taken two players on loan from Lancashire Lynx, full back Neil Allday and prop Lee Westwood. Both will play in tomorrow's home reserve game against Whitehaven.
