YOUNG Wigan Warriors prop Neil Baynes has been given the opportunity to reproduce his barnstorming Alliance League performances in the first team on Sunday.
The 20 year old's inclusion against Salford Reds is at the expense of Stephen Holgate, in an otherwise unchanged line-up from the one that beat Hull.
Baynes, who has played five times for the Great Britain Academy, made two appearances as substitute last season and made his debut against Sheffield in 1996.
Coach John Monie believes that although Salford Reds have been in indifferent form of late the return of Andy Gregory to Central Park means a tough encounter.
"Salford have been up and down recently after having had a good start but you can be sure that Andy will have them fired up," said Monie.
Wigan: Radlinski, Bell, Connolly, Moore, Robinson, Paul, Cardiss, Cowie, McCormack, Mestrov, Betts, Haughton, Farrell. Subs: Cassidy, Gilmour, Johnson, Baynes.
Fans travelling to the game (ko3pm), from the Horwich and Bolton area are advised to avoid the Aspull area between 1-3.30pm because of church walking days.
John Monie and his players will attend a Junior Warriors summer barbecue sports night and disco at Central Park on Tuesday June 9.
