CARNIVAL fever hits Bury and Radcliffe this weekend with a breathtaking array of events to keep the whole family entertained.
Monster trucks and daredevil dogs are just some of the attractions at Bury carnival on Sunday, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary.
For the second year running there will be no procession of floats, but thousands of people are expected at Castlecroft ground for the Sunday gala.
Throughout the day there will be displays from the Army and Navy, shows from the Essex Dog Display Team, stunts from the Monster Action Stunt Display Team, plus music from Milnrow Brass Band and the Army Cadet Marching Band.
Organised by the Bury Lions, the day is expected to raise thousands of pounds for charity. The fun starts at 11am.
Tomorrow the Radcliffe Carnival procession will be seen making its way through the streets of Radcliffe, between 11am and 1pm.
The colourful parade of floats congregate on Red Bank Playing Fields, where there will be displays from morris dancers, stalls, sideshows, fairground rides and a giant car boot sale. B
