SIR: A few weeks ago I was in the railway enquiry office at Trinity Street, where I had a fall and fractured my left elbow quite badly.
I was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital, where I had to have an operation. I was taken to G3 ward. What a super ward G3 is. In spite of a heavy work load, the staff were wonderful, treated everyone alike and remained bright and cheerful, whether it was day or night.
I am now back home and this is one OAP who will never cease to give thanks that the week she had to spend in hospital was in G3. I am now in the care of the District nurses, they too are wonderful. I count myself very fortunate to live in an area where I get such kindly, practical help.
E James,
Harwood, Bolton.
