MURDER squad detectives hunting the brutal killer of frail pensioner Daniel McFadden today urged four men to come forward to help with their investigation.
Mr McFadden, 65, was burned alive in his flat at Mere Gardens, Halliwell, on June 18.
Police want to speak to a mystery man who was seen visiting Mr McFadden's flat on a number of occasions in the year before his death.
He was white, 5ft 7ins, aged 20-25, slim, with light brown hair.
Detectives also urgently want to speak to three men who were seen watching the fire engines which headed to tackle the blaze at Mr McFadden's flat. They were all stood in Gaskell Street outside a plumbing supply shop.
One was white, aged 25, 5ft 7ins, medium build, with a blond skinhead haircut, clean shaven, wearing jeans.
The second was Asian, aged 25, 6ft 1ins, slim, with collar length black hair.
The other was Asian, aged 25-30, 5ft 7ins, large build, with black wavy collar length hair.
