TWO of the most vulnerable groups in the community have been given a voice.
Bolton Carers Support Project has recently appointed a support worker for people suffering from schizophrenia and their families, and one to help carers of the elderly.
A Family Support Worker will work with Making Space, the charity set up to support people who have schizophrenia and their families.
The worker, Gary Wall, will provide carers with information about schizophrenia, and advise on benefits and accessing local services.

The worker charged with looking after the needs of the carers of older people in the North-east of the district will work from Thicketford Community Care Centre.
The worker will provide one-to-one support and information and will help carers to access services.
Thicketford Community Care Centre also has a monthly carers support group.
