PER Frandsen has declared himself fit and raring to take on Sunderland in Sunday's Reebok clash of the Division One heavyweights. Wanderers' great Dane missed Tuesday night's Worthington Cup win at Norwich after suffering concussion in the defeat at Bristol City.
He still bears the scars of the collision with Rob Edwards that forced him out of the Ashton Gate action after just 21 minutes but two stitches high on his right cheek won't keep him out of a game he described today as "massive".
"It was an elbow and I thought I'd suffered some serious damage," Frandsen explained. "But I'll be all right now."
Hasney Aljofree is expected to make way for Frandsen with Robbie Elliott, who made a spectacular scoring return at Norwich, staying on the left of midfield in Ricardo Gardner's absence.
