AS a senior citizen, getting older and more forgetful, perhaps I could be forgiven for thinking it was April 1, on reading on page the 'Crime and Disorder Questionnaire' and the accompanying column in the BEN
I hardly think that the Chief Constable of GMP, David Wilmot had "taken into account more directly, the views and opinions of local communities," before he decided to close all local police stations outside of office hours.
Why didn't Michael Howard or Jack Straw come up with such an ingenious way of reducing 'recorded' crime.
