BOLTON-based solicitors Keogh Ritson has beaten its city-based rivals to be listed as the leading law firm in the North-west dealing with defendant personal injury work.
The 240-strong practice headed by 20 partners was ranked above other North-west firms and was the only firm to be placed in the top tier in the 1998/99 Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession.
Senior Partner Barry Taziker said: "The firm's excellent ranking is due to the hard work put in by all members of staff."
He added: "As a firm we are client driven. Many of our competitors feel that without a city base they would not survive. Keogh Ritson is proof that in today's technology focused legal market you do not need to be based in city centre not only to keep up with the competition but to remain ahead."
