-Within each frame, on every wall,
Fine scenes there are for one and all.
A pebbled beach, with surging sea,
Whose grasping waves, the stones fling free.
Cliffs, awesome, steep, like castle keep,
With overhangs, and chasms deep.
Oh! how I love to take my break,
And muse beside this tranquil lake.
While up above this tarn I see,
Clouds, Chasing clouds, fast, flowing, free.
When with the paintings in the room,
One gets away from doom and gloom.
So when you can, come, take a look,
Then leave your comment in the book. By Mr J R Mather,
Castle Street, Bolton.
