WOULD our grandparents believe that we are paying extra to buy vegetables without poison? They took organic vegetables for granted.
Would they believe we are buying bottled water? They took pure, un-fluoridated water for granted.
We will soon be buying fresh air, too. If you are interested in buying fresh food that has not been genetically modified, now is the time to ask your favourite supermarket to label such foods.
You have a right to choose. Ask for labelling now -- or who knows what you'll be eating next year?
Thank you L Holmes ('Charles is right': November 4) for highlighting such an important issue.
If you care -- vote Green at the next election.
The Tories don't care and Labour don't keep promises.
Vote Green, or say goodbye to fresh food, pure water and fresh air.
