I AM referring to the letter from Mr Brian Derbyshire, of Ribchester Grove, Bolton (BEN, December 1), regarding the bad behaviour of pupils of a certain school in Bolton.
Let me remind him, or anyone, that the behaviour of any children out of school, or in for that matter, is not the responsibility of the teachers, but how they have been raised by their parents.
Believe me, the teachers of today deserve the George Cross for even entering a classroom, let alone trying to teach them what they were taught to teach.
Mrs Annie Settle
