I AM writing to appeal to readers who are looking for a real adventure on, one of three overseas treks. As you may know, the competition for funds is as competitive as ever, so we are always looking for new and exciting ways for supporters to get involved.
Following the success of our first overseas trek last August, which raised over £100,000, Leonard Cheshire is organising new adventures to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and the Western Himalayas of Kazakstan. The Charity is looking for volunteers who will raise funds towards its work with disabled people in return for the trip of a lifetime, and it will only cost £250 plus a minimum sponsorship.
Leonard Cheshire is the UK's leading disability charity, running over 130 services supporting 10,000 people with disabilities here at home, and over 100,000 people in 200 services overseas.
To get more information on trekking the planet with Leonard Cheshire, simply call free on 0800 731 3766. Many thanks in anticipation of your support with this.
Sir David Goodall
