I WOULD like to congratulate Toys R Us in Bolton, for being police and helpful to the many parents, whose mission this year was to purchase a Furby!
On the occasions I have contacted the store, the assistants have been pleasant, and gladly given the delivery date, and even how many were expected on the delivery. As soon as the manager arrived this morning, he came out at 7.20am to hand out 'Furby tickets' to the waiting crowd, and opened the store entrance to let us have some warmth. We were then allowed in at 7.40am to purchase the Furby's before the official opening time.
Unfortunately, I would like to give a big 'thumbs down' to the Argos Superstore in Bolton! Each time I have contacted them about expected deliveries of Furby's they have been most unhelpful, and I was given the impression they were sick of hearing the same question!
I discovered this morning, while queuing at Toys R Us, that other parents shared the same opinion. So Argos, I suggest you 'brush up' on your customer service skills and remember the golden rule 'Service with a smile'.
In case anyone is wondering - mission accomplished - thanks to Toys R Us!
Merry Christmas to you all - especially the smashing crowd who helped pass the queuing time! 'Bah humbug' to Argos!
