BOSSES at the new Atlantis nightclub which is hoping to make a splash in the town have been met with a watery response from potential staff.
Interviewers were expecting a flood of applications for the 75 jobs on offer at the club in The Valley, Bolton, but only a handful of people turned up.
The club is due to open its doors to revellers on January 21 but managers are still short of several members of staff including bar staff and glass collectors. Manager Craig Smith, who put aside last weekend to carry out interviews, was disappointed by the turn out.
He said: "I'm absolutely amazed at the lack of response.
"I know Bolton is full of lively, dynamic people who would do a fantastic job at the club. So where are they?" Full training will be given and anyone interested in applying for a job can contact the club on Bolton 529922.
