THE last lucky set of heat winners took their place in the Grand Final of the Bolton Search For A Star contest.
Bar Peru in Manor Street has been playing host to a huge number of talented hopefuls during the past few weeks.
And now the successful acts will battle it out in the Grand Final, being held at The Temple nightclub on December 28.
The contest has been raising cash for the BEN/Bolton Lions Caring Christmas Appeal.
The overall winner of Monday's final will scoop a £500 top prize.
Qualifiers from the final heat this week were: in third place singing and dancing duo Chris Ward and John Tagg, both 19, from Bolton.
In joint second were vocalist Paul Wallwork, 22, from Little Lever and a singer called Tommo from Bolton.
Winners in the heat were Bolton band The Shakers who had the crowd singing and dancing with their own blues number. The Shakers line-up includes friends John, Michael, Paul and Rob.
