Man of the Match PER FRANDSEN THEY had to dig deep and no one dug deeper. Pompey's efforts made it difficult for Wanderers to reach their fluent best in midfield but Frandsen was alays there in the thick of things, battling on and off the ball in the style to which we have become accustomed.

Magic Moment

THE build-up and the finish for Wanderers' third goal. A sweeping move, started by Johansen and carried on by fellow Danes Jensen and Frandsen ended with Holdsworth whipping in a right-footer to put the icing on the victory cake.

Moan of the Match

DISAPPOINTMENT on and off the field when Colin Todd made what turned out to be significant substitutions. Supporters voiced their disapproval when Gunnlaugsson was taken off, Sellars was clearly unhappy when his number came up. The manager wasn't happy with the dissent but was philosophical . . . "I had to do something different. Sometimes it comes off. It came off for us today!"
