I WRITE in response to an article which appeared in the BEN on December 3, written by Matthew Taylor titled 'Catching a bus? Forget about the timetable!'
There are certain inaccuracies contained in the above which should be made known.
Firstly, the Bromley Cross Residents Association does not exist. A steering group in which Mr Muscat, I, other residents and Bolton Council are developing a constitution so that it can be formed next year.
Secondly, Mr Muscat cannot therefore represent an association which does not exist, and even if it did exist it is up to the members of the public to appoint officers.
Thirdly, one of the issues being discussed is to what extent the area of Bromley Cross is to be covered by the association, after which its name can then be determined.
