CHRISTMAS DAY was extra special for nine proud Bolton mums this year.
Just minutes into Christmas Day, staff at Princess Anne Maternity Unit made their first extra-special delivery.
Thirteen minutes after the clock turned midnight, Cameron William Roberts arrived, weighing in at a healthy 8lb 1oz, to mum Lorraine Roberts of Worsley.
Later on Christmas Day, Connor Walsh put in an appearance weighing in at 7lb 4oz. His overjoyed mum Michaela, from Astley Bridge gave birth at 6.50pm.
Delighted
Five minutes later Georgia Danielle arrived three weeks early much to the surprise of delighted mum Paula Percival from Tonge Park. Born at 6.55pm, the tiny youngster weighed 6lb 4oz.
At 8.47pm Kelly Urion gave birth to strapping young lad Jordan Lewis, who weighed 10lb 13oz. The proud mum from Little Lever, was delighted to have a Christmas Day arrival.
Five pound 13oz Shannon Louise was the pride of Deborah Whittle from Farnworth when she gave birth at 10.11pm.
Next to arrive at 10.15pm was Kathryn Corkin's baby son Matthew Andrew. Matthew, who weighed 8lb 4oz, came a week early.
And last of the Christmas Day babies was Jack - the son of Leanne Prince from Halliwell. Born at 11.15pm, he weighed in at a healthy 6lb 9oz.
