AFTER 12 months of asking, asking, asking during our Centenary Year, and an excellent response from the public, we felt it was inappropriate to have a Christmas appeal. However, many of you sent unsolicited donations and we are very grateful to you.
If you still wish to support the RSPCA, our Centenary Scrapbook is now on sale from the Advice Centre or the Charity Shop, price £2.50 or £3 (incl P&P), and our message for 1999 is: Please come forward for help or advice, particularly if you feel unable to afford to feed your pet or to have a sick animal treated by a vet.
If you are thinking of acquiring a pet, then please remember the dogs, cats and rabbits of all ages and sizes, which have been rescued by the RSPCA and are now looking for kind, loving homes.
It would be wonderful to start our 101st year knowing the hard work of the last century has not been in vain.
