SWISSAIR has launched its third daily Manchester-Zurich flight. The company says it offers North-west business travellers a greater variety of and quicker connections to East and South Africa, South America and the Far East.
The extra flight means travellers can transfer to more of Swissair's connecting flights out of Zurich to places as diverse as Bangkok, Capetown, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Jeddah and Sao Paulo without the inconvenience of having to travel to London first.
"We have wanted to introduce an extra flight out of Manchester for some time," said Wayne Miller, Swissair's new Marketing Manager UK & Ireland.
Manchester was the second largest commercial centre in the UK and there was increasing demand for quick connections from business travellers in Manchester and the North-west.
The flight departs Manchester Airport at 4.55pm GMT, arriving in Zurich at 7.55 pm CET.
