BACTERIA, germs and bleach are on the menu this month as Bolton's 16 health centres challenge people to test their wits on food hygiene.
Bolton Council's environmental health services food control unit and Wigan and Bolton Health Authority's education section have teamed up to put together a Food Safety in the Home exhibition.
Information will be available on food hygiene from leaflets at the exhibition, and everyone entering the quiz will be tested on a range of topics such as food storage and bacteria safety.
All quiz entries - which will provide valuable data to health education planners - will be entered in a prize draw where £25 Boots gift vouchers are up for grabs for the lucky winner.
The display was being launched today at Ashburner Street Health Centre by Cllr Bernard Ramsden, chairman of the environment and consumer sub-committee.
